Marilyn Manson回歸：We're from America
Marilyn Manson的最新單曲《We’re from America》已經泄漏(leaks)到網路上，不排除他是學師傅Trent般自己把檔案扔到網上以添聲勢。而推出一直遙遙無期的大碟【The High End of Low】亦從官網確定了26th May的發片日期。貝斯和吉他重責均由舊拍檔Twiggy Ramirez一力擔當，從泄漏的幾首歌聽來卻沒聽見太多吉他段落，反而是由霸氣的貝斯和電子音效佔據多數位置。前張專輯的歌德氣氛一去不返，老奉的搖滾之外竟然是一種怪誕的舞曲感。
響頭炮的《We’re from America》由一道高壓的電吉他領著主旋律行進，一派赫武揚威的氣勢，口號式的歌詞內裡卻是句句有骨——美國價值背後霸道黑暗的一面。

Marilyn Manson, 唔, 遙遙呼應到 David Bowie, This is not America, 講述的, 相去不遠, 但, 有電影助勢, 後者歌詞, 意境較悠遠。

碰巧，最近在讀你在全城馬力踩到底！！的留言，而我感到這與最近的事情很有一種形而上的聯繫。我漸漸覺得，很多歷史的意義，都將在人們此起彼落的口號和兩極對壘中埋葬，最將連屍骸也化成灰。歷史的悲涼，莫過於此。
我沒聽過Bowie這首歌，Manson這首歌倒讓我想到Bowie的《I am afraid of American》。將兩首歌的表象和內涵放在一起閱讀，也是一件很有趣的事。
此時此地, 你貼此歌, 因由我估計。是故, 我亦都是以歌覆你。點擊我名, 即可聽此歌。詞義, 悲嘆的是, 共和的隕落﹑承傳的遺失。
歌問世其時, 里根挾反共為由, 四出燃點戰火, 又擴張核武, 廣泛被解讀為, 美共和之滅亡﹑美帝國之崛起。
我的解讀, 歌詞及電影裡, Sean Penn 飾演的毒癮「雪人」, 隱喻本質的衰敗, 他的友人, 美國的象征「獵鷹」, 則隱喻不終朝日的飄風驟雨。
歌詞, 遙思美國立國之初的朝氣﹑無限可能。以古鑒今, not America 與 not a miracle 反復交錯, 承傳不再, 是唏噓。也使我聯想到, 布希帝國時代的這一封信。
亦適于所有理念承傳運動, 可以燎原星星之火與熊熊烈焰幻滅無形之區別。
半公開的一件事, 這個網絡身份是共用的, 不過你問對人。思存說: 「最壞的後果是, 將其他那些本無成見, 只是心裏有疑問的年輕一代, 因誤會而被推向『敵』對的一方。」我, 亦曾慷慨激昂平反六四, 甚至電郵戶口都八九六四, 不過, 你銜接裡那個, 早已不復自己了, 在新春秋我公開說了, 我擁共了。我, 尚且都不是思存所講的, 無成見﹑心有疑問的中學生之類, 而是, 一度聲嘶力竭平反六四﹑還政於民的熾烈反共。轉變過程之中, 無絲毫物質外力左右我的, 儘管, 疑是五毛嘗試收買過我。
要是思存閱讀到這個, 也許他會問: 「為什麼?」 可是, 他無法開口了, 因為, 理性渠道過去名存實亡﹑如今有名有實地, 被徹底阻絕了。他們可以做的, 就餘下二件事, 要麼漠視我﹑要麼謾罵我。陳一諤, 疑是擁共, 都被眾罵, 更何況, 我擺明車馬, 擁共, 雙重標準一至於此, 如何可以呢? 而我, 不過是滄海一粟, 他們在茶杯裡翻雲覆雨同時, 徹底阻絕掉的, 是翻雲覆雨茶杯以外的整個世界, 無論是思存講的年輕一代﹑後來世代﹑甚至中共﹑歷史﹑時代。他們在與時間空間隔絕的茶杯裡, 就餘下二件事可以做, 一, 繼續歇斯底裡﹑二, 不斷地問為什麼。
即便我擁共了, 但平反六四之於我, 不過換了一個形式。他們口口聲聲講, 承傳歷史, 實際上, 他們講的, 純粹是承傳記憶罷了, 實際上, 是抑或不是記憶, 都很有問題。可是, 即便是所謂歷史﹑所謂意義, 又如何呢? 也許, 六四之前一星期, 我從藝術角度, 回覆你的原本提問, 圍剿陳一諤背後的東西。這個, 至今都尚未了結..
